The REMO2 system is an effective method of providing emergency oxygen first aid to a responsive and breathing injured diver where there is substantial distance to the nearest medical facility or delay to the next level of emergency care. In this class you will learn how this system can provide oxygen for up to eight hours using one D cylinder by understanding surface rebreather theory. You will also be able to determine when it is appropriate to deploy the REMO2 unit, to set up the system and use for a conscious, breathing, injured diver.
